Rev'd Lennon writes:

'This week we welcomed members of the Prayer Book Society to Teddies for the annual Oxford diocesan heats of the Cranmer Awards. Over 50 schools were invited to take part in this esteemed competition. Entrants declaimed a passage from the Book of Common Prayer in a lively and close contest and were judged by experts and clergy from across the diocese.

There was a Junior and a Senior competition and the respective winners were Emily Jones from Kingham Hill and Julian Ford from St Edward’s. Thanks to all the competitors for giving time to perfect their pieces and performing them so well. Emily and Julian will go forward to represent Oxford at the National Finals at Hampton Court Palace in February. We wish them every success.'
