  • The Friends of St Edward's
  1. Friends

The Friends of St Edward's

The Friends’ of St Edward’s was set up to help provide a social community for all those linked to Teddies – including the families of pupils, past and present, staff and friends of the school. We are run by a Committee of staff and parents, with ‘Reps’ for each House, who create events and initiatives promoting a sense of community across St Edward’s.

OUR EVENTS

We organise both in-person and virtual events throughout the year, providing an opportunity for both UK-based and overseas parents to get to know each other and the School. House Reps also organise house-specific coffees, so you can socialise with other parents in your child’s House.

Most of our bigger events are organised to coincide with the start of half term, or leave-weekends. We know that many of you live far away, so this means that your trip to Oxford to pick up pupils can also include a Coffee with the Friends, for example.

LOOK OUT FOR US IN:

We publish details of upcoming events on the School website, in E-News (sent out every Friday) and in the termly Friends’ ‘Keeping in Touch’ Newsletter.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are always looking for interesting venues, speakers and ideas for events. If you have suggestions - let us know! Email  [email protected] or call +44(0)1865319439.

The Friends' Committee

Below are the members of the Friends' Commitee - we always welcome new faces, so if you're interested in joining, or would like to get in touch with your House Rep, please do email us ([email protected]). The Reps are always delighted to hear from you, and can introduce you to other parents in the House as well.

Our AGM is held in the middle of the Summer Term.

  • Anamaria Anton is the Chair of the Friends Committee
