Design Technology Teacher Susan Holland raised £310 for Stroke Association through skipping everyday outside the Ogston Music School in February. There are now 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK and the Stroke Association helps to rebuild lives and raise awareness. Susan Holland writes: 'This February, I will be skipping for 15 minutes a day, every day, to raise money for the Stroke Association. During my challenge I will spend 7 hours skipping, during which time 84 strokes will cause devastation to families across the UK. The last 18 months has had a devastating effect on Stroke Association's work, but our contribution can make a positive impact, every penny counts. Stroke Association's vision is for there to be fewer strokes, and for people affected by stroke to get the help they need to live the best life they can.'
