We were delighted to welcome over 100 Year 6 pupils from St Aloysius, Cutteslowe and St Michael's Primary Schools to Teddies on Thursday. Our Biology, Physics and Chemistry teachers treated them to interactive lectures with the theme ‘The Science of Christmas’ in the Olivier Hall.

Physics discussed Rudolph’s ‘Incredible Journey’ with the issues of friction and how fast he has to travel; Chemistry demonstrated ‘The Colours of Christmas’ with Poinsettia plants being chopped up for scientific demonstrations; and Biology captivated everyone with ‘Plate to Poo’ by showing the digestive journey of our Christmas Dinner! There was a visit from Father Christmas, and we rounded off the afternoon in the Quad, with a Christmas sing-along around the Christmas Tree accompanied by the Teddies Brass Band.

Thank you to all our visitors for coming and to all the Teddies staff who made this such a successful and enjoyable event.
