Started in 1967, the Cricketer Cup is one of the most prestigious public school alumni sports competitions in the world. Originally consisting of the alumni Cricket clubs of 16 of the country’s leading public schools, the competition was expanded to 32 schools in 1969, when the St. Edward’s School ‘Martyrs’ were invited to join. The Martyrs have enjoyed mixed success over the last 53 years, reaching the Quarter Finals on numerous occasions, but never progressing to a Semi-Final!

This year the Martyrs have been drawn to play Old Cholmeleians (Highgate School) in the 1st Round at Home on Sunday 11th June.

The match will be played on Upper 1 (starting at 11.30am) and will coincide with the Special Gaudy celebrations taking place at Teddies on the same day - a chance to come to Teddies, enjoy picnics, tours of the school, a vintage car parade and much more!
